Originally from Wellington, Steve spent time living in Europe and Mexico before settling down in Auckland several years ago. Inspired by his days living under the Mexican sun, he wanted fellow Kiwis to experience the charm of the year round outdoor living experience.
With an educational background in mechanical engineering and experience in the building industry, he founded Awnings Direct in 2007. Since then, he has been manufacturing, marketing, installing and providing outstanding service for Awnings, Covers, Canopies, Shade Sails, Carports, Walkways and curtains Auckland wide. The range of custom awnings offer protection from harsh UV rays and other weather conditions so you can comfortably enjoy your outdoor area in any season. Our awnings are complemented by our range of outdoor curtains.
